PRICE Symphony No. 3
Florence Price is the greatest composer you’ve never heard of. This African American composer was once known across the country, but then her name disappeared. Price’s Third Symphony sings and dances, blending European and folk influences, just as Dvořák does in his Eighth Symphony. A new work features the voices of the SLSO IN UNISON Chorus.
Classical Series presented by Steward Family Foundation
