Ring in the holidays with an afternoon of musical cheer. From sleigh bells to horse whinnies, your St. Louis Symphony Orchestra brings the sounds of the holidays to life as they perform seasonal standards and exciting twists on beloved classics. Norman Huynh returns to conduct this holiday tradition alongside the dazzling vocalist and star of stage and screen Capathia Jenkins. Experience why thousands of St. Louisans kick off their holiday season with the SLSO every year–traditions and surprises await!
A few things to know:
- Guest artist Capathia Jenkins is a powerhouse vocalist who has performed with orchestras around the world, including the SLSO in 2022. Jenkins has guest starred on TV in 30 Rock, The Sopranos, Law & Order: SVU, and more. She has also starred on Broadway in Newsies, Martin Short’s Fame Becomes Me, and Caroline, or Change.
- Santa joins us at the Mercy Holiday Celebration every year for photos and a special performance of “Sleigh Ride.”
- We welcome back frequent guest conductor Norman Huynh, who also is Music Director of the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra.
