Dive into the heart of Gotham City's darkness and witness the power of music.
Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite DC Super Hero. Please note that Batman has a PG-13 rating and runs for approximately 2 hours.
A few things to know:
- This first installment of the Warner Bros. Batman film series features the conflict with Batman’s nemesis, The Joker. This role was expertly played by Jack Nicholson, although many other famous names were considered for the part, including Robin Williams, David Bowie, John Lithgow, and Tim Curry. However, the studio had Nicholson in mind for almost 10 years prior to the film’s release in 1989.
- Composer Danny Elfman has famously partnered with Tim Burton on numerous projects, including Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and the recent Netflix series Wednesday. Ironically, he was rejected from his elementary school orchestra “for having no propensity for music.” This composer has now earned three Emmy Awards, a Grammy, and four Oscar nominations.
- Michael Keaton considered himself a “logic freak” and was worried that his Bruce Wayne’s secret identity would be too easy to uncover. This led to the famous low register voice that ultimately became a staple performed by future portrayals of Batman.
