The St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra concludes its season with a program of passion and contrast. Prokofiev draws an arc of drama throughout his second Romeo and Juliet Suite. Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Unsuk Chin pays homage to Beethoven with her angular and brassy subito con forza, while Lili Boulanger depicts the grace and promise of a spring morning with lithe woodwind and string melodies. Aiden Moon, winner of the 2025 YO Concerto Competition, brings style and elegance to Henri Vieuxtemps’ Violin Concerto No. 5.
