Jennifer Nitchman, Second Flute with the SLSO and Commissioner in the Flute New Music Consortium, will perform the St. Louis premiere of a brilliant new work by Reena Esmail for unaccompanied flute as part of a simultaneous national premiere. Composer Reena Esmail is known for bridging the worlds of Indian and Western classical music and bringing communities together through the creation of equitable musical spaces.
