Enjoy a musical voyage through Rome’s majestic hills in Respighi’s Pines of Rome, a spectacular symphonic poem explores the catacombs, flittering nightingales and a glittering sunrise over the ancient city. Head to Spain with Rimsky-Korsakov’s rousing and flamboyant Capriccio espagnol. Plus, the orchestra’s own Ann Choomack performs Tüür’s Piccolo Concerto, a piece co-commissioned by the SLSO, the Royal Concertgebouw and the London Philharmonic.
